Globally, we invest $17 million a day in research and development (R&D), including 20 medicine development projects for personalised health initiatives.
In Australia, we are working with clinicians at leading institutions across the country on clinical trials, aimed at bringing innovative new medicines to the Australian community.
We employ around 11,300 worldwide in R&D.
Our scientists work across boundaries to exchange ideas, share best practice and make the most of the efficiencies that global collaboration offers.
At a local level more than 30 people are employed at AstraZeneca Australia who work to bring new medicines into the Australian market.
