We are the largest national manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, providing $1.2 billion of medicines to the local market and $200 million in exports.
We primarily manufacture local anaesthetics and respiratory products and have established ourselves as the global sole supplier of some of our respiratory products to China and Japan.
Our site has a proven track record of delivering outstanding supply performance and is regarded as one of the most cost-efficient and successful manufacturing sites in the AstraZeneca global network.
We are highly committed to a sustainable and energy efficient working environment. In 2011 our manufacturing facility was recognised by the New South Wales Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water, as winner of the 10 year Sustainability Achievement Award for outstanding long-term commitment to environment excellence.
